Abstract
A superparamagnetic pomegranate-like core@shell structure with Fe 3O4@SiO2 nanoparticles as cores and cross-linked PZS as shells was fabricated. The Fe3O 4@SiO2@PZS hybrid composite shows exellent solvent resistance and water dispersion, allowing potentially great biocompatibility and possible tailored surface chemistry for applications in biotechnology.
