N2 - The spatial layout of the hotel industry directly affects the location of the new hotels, and also profoundly affects the market competition among hotels. In order to optimize the spatial layout of the economy in Wuhan and avoid the excessive competition in the spacial markest, the paper selects two hundred and seventy eight economic chain hotels in Wuhan as samples, With the big data platforms of Ctrip, Meituan and so on. and then the spatial distribution pattern of economic chain hotels in central city of Wuhan was analyzed by means of the nearest neighbor distance index and kernel density estimation of ArcGIS software. The conclusions are found out. (1)In general, the distribution of economic chain hotels in the central urban area of Wuhan is very uneven, and most of them are concentrated in Wuchang, Hongshan and Jianghan districts, showing an obvious "clustering distribution pattern". And mostly stand along the station, business district, scenic spots and traffic roads, showing the spatial distribution forms of "beaded, elliptical and concentric circle". (2) From the perspective of brand analysis, the spatial distribution of different brands is different, and the Seven Day hotels mainly have a dotted distribution.the City convenience hotels are mainly beaded along the main traffic lines. The Hanting Hotels are beaded along Wuluo Road and Zhongbei Road, with the distribution characteristics of "T"shape; The Home Inns have a beaded distribution characteristics.
