Abstract

It has provided the origin of tens of milliseconds scale broad pulsed signal and discussed the reasons of photomultiplier tubes distortions. This thesis also gives the application background of this test In order to get the response characteristics of the photomultiplier tubes measuring tens of milliseconds scale broad pulsed signals, it has built the broad signal test equipments. After that it has researched a method to restrain the response distortions of the photomultiplier tubes. What it has researched gives the basis for broad pulsed neutrons detector and provides the important references for broad pulsed neutrons detection.
