Abstract

In order to analyze the eccentricity and the attitude angle of journal gas bearing with rubber rings support, some new concepts and parameters were introduced. Based on the absolute coordinate and relative coordinate, the theoretical model and experimental method were developed to solve the geometrical performance of journal gas bearing with rubber rings support. The comparative results of analytical study and experimental test indicate that the proposed theoretical method is feasible.
