Study on the dielectric property of Ag/ZnO composition

Ag/ZnO composite samples were prepared with different Ag content of 1%, 5%, 7%, 10% and 20%, respectively. The electrical and dielectric properties were investigated. It was found that the breakdown field strength at first increases then decreases with increasing Ag content. The dielectric spectra shows that the loss increases with silver increasing and the dielectric constant at first down then up at 20°C, 1 kHz. The experimental results were analyzed through theory and microstructure of different samples.
