Abstract
This paper presented a LCC/VSC hybrid DC grid test model for system studies of network forming feasibility and key technology of LCC/VSC hybrid HVDC grid applied in large-scale renewable energy access, high-capacity and long-distance transmission of power and asynchronous interconnection of AC grids. This test model was proposed based on the planning and development of China's future power grid. The topology, configuration and functions of the test model were described in detail and its basic system data for load flow studies were provided. Finally load flow simulation studies with PSS/E program for the model were undertaken and the corresponding results under normal and N-1 operating conditions were presented and analyzed.
