Abstract

Based on the combined transformation theory of the space coordinates, a scheme was proposed for introducing three non co-linear marked points in the public areas of the adjacent subdivided shapes to digitize the whole profile. The blending accuracy of the measuring data was analyzed and a verification for its application was done in a light-sectioning three-dimensional measuring system. The experimental results show that this scheme can realize subdivided measuring and data registering with the features of rapid speed, high accuracy and simple operation in optical three-dimensional profilometry.
