Abstract
An experimental study of medium and high-k density fluctuations has been performed during lower hybrid current drive on HT-7 tokamak. When the lower hybrid power exceeded about 500 kW, the Ohmic normalized fluctuation level of channel k Θ=12 cm -1 dropped to a low level, and the Ohmic normalized fluctuation level of channel k Θ=24 cm -1 was still increasing while the frequency spectrum of density fluctuation will grow a peak at about 200 kHz in channel k Θ=24 cm -1.
