Abstract

The object transaction service model for distributed application environment was presented. This model combines the traditional transaction process technology and the distributed object technology. Based on the object transaction service model, an object transaction management system (OTMS) was implemented. Both the theory of object transaction service and the concrete implementation technology of object transaction management system are presented. Because the OTMS is a part of Web-based middle-tier application server, it can completely meet the needs of the Web-based distributed application.
