Abstract

This paper compares the steady-state and dynamic performance of three different control strategies, including 4-phase voltage loop, voltage-current loop and COTRB control, applied on a novel hybrid switched-capacitor converter, which is a good DC-DC converter candidate for data centers. Models with these three control strategies are constructed to give a comparison result. Simulation result shows COT-RB control has the best steady-state and dynamic performance, especially under load increase situation. It proves that COT RB control applied on this novel hybrid switched-capacitor converter can provide better power supply for the future data centers.
