Abstract
Density wave oscillation in a vertical up-flow pipe of two-phase natural circulation loop was studied. The oscillation curves under different conditions were obtained. By means of plurality linear regression analysis of experimental data, a stability criterion of density wave oscillation under low pressure two-phase natural circulation conditions was developed. The ranges of experimental parameters are as the following: system pressure P=0.21-1.75 MPa, mass flow rate G=345-1947 kg/m2·s, inlet subcooling δTsub=6-60 °C, heated power Q=2.3-24 kW.
