Abstract

Multiferroic Bi1-x Srx Fe0.8 Mn0.2 O3 ceramics (x=0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20) were prepared by the sol-gel process. These samples exhibit enhanced ferromagnetism with preserving their ferroelectric nature. The Sr concentration in Bi1-x Srx Fe0.8 Mn0.2 O3 ceramics has a strong influence on the materials properties, including dielectric constant, dielectric loss, magnetization, and ferromagnetic Curie temperature. The effects of Sr doping on the magnetic properties and dielectric properties of the Bi1-x Srx Fe0.8 Mn0.2 O3 ceramics were analyzed.
