Abstract

Structural and optical properties of epitaxial BaTiO3 thin films which are grown on GdScO3(110) were discussed. Pulsed laser deposition and Rutherford backscattering spectrometry were used. It was found that epitaxially grown films exhibit superior structural perfection when compared to films grown on other substrate materials.
