Abstract
The choice of the sources is a very important issue in the numerical modeling. Different sources will generate completely different wavefields. We analyze the representation of the three common sources: the dilatational source, the shear source and the directional force source. And the finite difference method is applied to simulate the wavefields of three sources in 3D poroelastic media. The numerical results show that these three sources have different wavefields and generate different waveforms. These results will be helpful for the numerical modeling in poroelastic media.
