Abstract

Not just a pretty face(t)! Novel NaSbO 3 hierarchical cuboidal microclusters assembled from well-defined hexagonal single-crystal nanosheets with exposed {001} facets were prepared hydrothermally and further transformed topotactically into AgSbO 3 (see figure), which, due to its unique structure, showed higher photocatalytic activity for visible-light-driven O 2 evolution than AgSbO 3 formed from NaSbO 3 prepared by a solid-state reaction.
