Abstract
In the study of group decision, it is difficult to distinguish between genuine conformity and spurious conformity for the reason that the decision-maker's information is hard to be observed. In response to this problem, the paper here first divides the decision behavior into three categories from the view of conformity, and then puts forward an evolutionary model for group decision conformity on the basis of cellular automata. This model can simulate group decision behavior and reveal spurious conformity's influence on group decision. The simulation experiments show the conformity preference, group communication times and group scale have influences on the three conformity behaviors.
