Simulation of reactive linear synchronous motor starting performance

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Accounting for the static longitudinal end effect, FEM is used to calculate the nonlinear inductance parameters of reactive linear synchronous motor with electromagnetic reduction speed. The current inductance coefficient is defined and used to simplify the analysis of the nonlinear problem. Starting performance of a machine is simulated to validate the theoretical approach.
