Abstract

Aiming at improving the precision of extracting the center position of the light stripe of the linear light measurement system, an abnormal distributing model of energy of light stripe section is established, where a self-adaptive iterative algorithmic is developed to extract the center position of the light stripe based on the centrobaric method. The modulated influence on the distribution of energy of light stripe resulting from the measured object surface is investigated. The tests with standard bevel of 45° and the free surface are conducted respectively. Compared with the center position gotten by centrobaric method and self-adaptive threshold method, it is found that the proposed method enables to extract the light stripe center position exactly and steadily to outperform with a precision of 10 μm and higher anti-interference capacity.
