Review on network topology and fault diagnosis technology of DC distribution network

Abstract

The DC distribution network is an intelligent and stable AC/DC hybrid wide area network with advanced energy management system. Firstly, the feasibility of three different topologies of DC distribution network is discussed in combination with the application scenario. The topology structure of DC distribution network at both ends is proposed. Secondly, it analyzes the transient characteristics of DC distribution system DC faults, and points out that the three phases of the fault continuous process (DC capacitor discharge phase, freewheeling diode natural commutation phase and diode simultaneous conduction phase) to AC system, commutation and the influence of the DC side. Finally, according to the common types of faults in DC distribution network inverters and their causes, the fault diagnosis technology of DC distribution network is analyzed, and the fault diagnosis method based on expert system, fault diagnosis method based on neural network and fault-based fault are proposed. The fault diagnosis method of the dictionary lays the foundation for the research of the control and protection technology of the DC distribution network.
