Abstract
Retraction: BMC Cancer 14, 938 (2014) The editors have retracted this article due to concerns regarding image overlaps with another published article [1]. After publication, concerns were raised that Fig. 3B (Invasion vs. Fibulin-5) appears to overlap with two panels—Hep3B Negative control and Hep3B vs. Anti-miR-130b—from Fig. 3C of an article [1] published by the same author group. Additionally, Fig. 3D (Invasion vs. Fibulin-5 siRNA) appears to overlap with the MHCC97H vs. Anti-miR-130b panel from Fig. 3C of [1]. The authors have not provided a satisfactory explanation for the above concerns. The Editors therefore no longer have confidence in the integrity of the data presented in this article. On behalf of all authors Kangsheng Tu disagrees with the retraction.
