Abstract

In this paper, a novel control method named active harmonic resistance(AHR) which is used to suppress the resonance between the power capacitor and system inductance is proposed. The power capacitor is series with an inductor, which id paralleled with the converter applying AHR control method, which means that the converter is controlled to be a resistor at harmonic frequency and to regulate the dc voltage at the fundamental frequency. This method can not only restrain series resonance and parallel resonance, but also decrease the power consumption in the circuit. The simulation and experimental results verify the proposed result.
