Abstract

Owing to the problem about how to construct the Virtual Control Systems (VCS) in different fields, a General Integrated Platform (GIP) was proposed, which resolved three key issues of the VCS' configurable update, the VCS' control interface, and the VCS' control. Through the method of dynamically loading ActiveX, the VCS' update being independent of the GIP's source code was implemented. At last, the experiment contrasting the update at source code level with that at configurable level was made as far as the numeric control system was concerned. As it is indicated in the result, the configurable update is characterized by conspicuous advantages concerning time, payout and quality as well as higher efficiency, less overall effect, stronger universality, test localization and customized processing logic compared with the update at source code level.
