Abstract

Dynamic behaviors and residual stress field based on 1aser shock processing (LSP) of plate materials are simulated by BEM/FEM. According to dynamic fundamental solutions, dynamic behaviors of plate materials are analyzed by boundary element method (BEM), and the corresponding modal characteristics are obtained before LSP. On the basis of the above analysis, the residual stress field based on LSP of plate materials is simulated by Finite Element Method (FEM). Numerical calculating and experiments show that the established method improves modeling precision and efficiency of plate materials, and it can provide theoretical role for process control and optimizing parameters of experimentation by LSP.
