Abstract
Based on Java solution and Web technology, a novel e-service platform referring to the application service provider(ASP) mode for part manufacturing is developed. A series of manufacturing services, including resources registration, task quoting, capability evaluation, task allocation, manufacturing collaboration and manufacturing visualization, are integrated into the platform. In terms of using a hierarchical evaluation method, a dynamic manufacturing site configuration can be formed according to part manufacturing tasks submitted by customers. And the tasks can be queued, done and visualized under the guidance of the correspondent e-service mechanisms. As a verification of the system implementation, an order-driven example for the step-shaft fabrication is given to show the whole running route of the test.
