Abstract
Ancient buildings, as the living fossils of China's historical and cultural accumulation, are the treasures of Chinese civilization. To better protect these precious cultural heritages, based on the concept of cultural heritage protection that emphasizes "intelligence in management and wisdom in application," a monitoring and early warning platform for ancient buildings based on the fusion of multi-source heterogeneous data has emerged. This case couples "sky, air, and ground" data, utilizing digital technology methods such as aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR, the Internet of Things, GIS spatial information, and spatial visualization. A famous Buddhist temple in a certain city is selected as the study area to establish a "sky-air-ground integrated" and "2D-3D fusion" dynamic monitoring platform for ancient buildings. This platform enables real-time monitoring and early warning, component structure monitoring, and business management analysis, aiding in the digital transformation and upgrading of the recording, research, protection, and utilization methods of ancient buildings. It explores new models for the development of cultural heritage and empowers the scientific protection and rational development of historical and cultural resources with "dynamic monitoring.
