Abstract

High-performance permanent magnet motors can operate reliably at temperatures of 100 oC or more. In hightemperature environments, the temperature has a great impact on the performance of materials such as permanent magnets, cores, and windings. However, according to the test standard, the magnetic properties of magnetic materials are usually measured at room temperature, ignoring the effect of temperature. To accurately design magnetic devices that are used at high temperatures, it is necessary to understand the behavior of several magnetic materials at high temperatures. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and study the effect of temperature on the characteristics and performance of highspeed permanent magnet motor in high-temperature environments.
