Abstract
The refraction error is a main error source in the measurement data. It is also a main factor affecting the satellite tracking and control accuracy and orbit determination accuracy. Because of the difference of the sampling formats and the loss of data observed in real time, the observed elements that must be matched in the same sampling time become mismatched, which makes it difficult to correct the refraction error in the measured data. The robust compensation method proposed can solve the matching problem and the refraction error correction problem effectively. The simulation demonstrates that the method is a very efficient and practical method for orbit determination.
