Reflector parameters calculation code using the transport equivalent method

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A calculation code (HBDC) for the parameters of core reflector is encoded based on the one-dimensional transport equivalent method and the discrete ordinates method ANISN. This code is applied to calculate the Zion-1 benchmark problem and iron-water reflector problem for verification. Numerical results demonstrate that this method is flexible for both the baffle reflector and iron-water reflector, and it can achieve high accuracy.
