Abstract

This paper propose a novel method of Reconstruction of Vessel Axis on matching of multi-resolution projections and analyzing of corresponding points. The 3-D space is divided to several cubes. The cubes are projected to the actual projection directions separately. If a cube-projection includes vessel axes points, it is believed that the cube include 3D vessel. Then we divide the cube to several smaller cubes and repeats above process until the needed precision is reached. An approximate 3D model of vessel axes is constituted according to projections of the cubs. The corresponding relation of vessel axes between different direction projections is analyzed according to the approximate 3D axes model. Then we can constitute the accurate continuous 3D vessel axes by interpolation method. We use an actual DSA sequence as the experimental data and the result is satisfactory.
