Abstract

New three-dimensional, microporous metal-organic frameworks exhibiting reversible water adsorption, constructed from hexagonal [Co3(imda) 2] layers and N,N′-pillars, in which the dimensions of the channels are rationally adjustable by varying the lengths of pillars, have been designed, hydrothermally synthesized, and characterized.
