Abstract

Aiming at the complex embedded labyrinth design of the dropper, which is the key part in a water-saving irrigator, rapid prototyping and manufacturing technique is used to design the droppers and to manufacture the rapid tooling (RT). CAD design of the dropper using parametrization idea is described in detail. The integration of design/verification/manufacture of mould and products is realized, and the metal-sprayed mould is made.
