Abstract
HFO/ionic liquids are potential alternative working pairs for absorption refrigeration. In this work, a low viscosity ionic liquid [DEME][TFSI] was screened, and the solubility of R1234yf and R1234ze(E) in [DEME][TFSI]was measured based on the isochoric saturation method. The experimental data comparison results show that [DEME][TFSI] has a high absorption capacity for both R1234yf and R1234ze(E), the solubility of R1234ze(E) in [DEME][TFSI] is higher than R1234yf. The experimental data of the solubility of R1234yf and R1234ze(E) in [DEME][TFSI] was then correlated by NRTL equation. The AAD between the calculated results form NRTL equation and the experimental values were 2.1% and 0.5% respectively.
