Abstract

Early in 2018, the 6G technology was first discussed by US FCC in a public forum. Subsequently, Finland started to initiate the 6G research and held the world’s first 6G summit from March 24 to 26, 2019, which released the “6G Ubiquitous Wireless Intelligence—Key Drivers and Research Challenges” white paper, claiming that key performance indicators of 6G will be 10 to 100 times higher than those of 5G.
