Abstract

This paper introduces the prepared method of a thermochromic variable emittance radiator based on perovskite manganese oxide. A series of high rigidity block perovskite manganese oxide samples were prepared using solid-state reaction. The crystalloid structure, Curie-temperature and radiative properties of the samples were measured. The effects of the reacting component proportions and preparation techniques on the Curie temperature and radiative properties of the samples are discussed. The measured results show that the emittance of the thermochromic materials abruptly changes depending on its temperature around the transition temperature.
