Abstract

A pH-sensitive chitosan material was prepared via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of chitosan with poly (ethylene glycol) methacrylate (PEGMA), which was successfully conducted in water and methanol system with CS-Br as macroinitiator and CuBr/bpy as a catalyst. The copolymer obtained was analyzed. The results of UV analysis showed that at 24 °C and under different concentrations or at 24 °C and with pH value between 3.7-9, P (CS-Br-PEGMA) can well control delivery on coenzyme A, and the release mechanism of coenzyme A was also discussed.
