Abstract
The polyurethane material based on Epoxidized Hydroxyl-terminated Polybutadiene(EHTPB) was synthesized with N, N-di(2-hydroxypropyl)aniline(Is) as chain extender and toluene diisocyanate(TDI) as a curing agent. The effects of epoxy value of EHTPB, curing time, molar ratio of Is to EHTPB, NCO/OH ratio and filler dosage on the properties of the polyurethane were investigated. The results show that the optimal molar ratio of Is to EHTPB is 1.54 and the best NCO/OH ratio is 2.05. The best amount of catalyst is 0.075%, the filler dosage of ZnO is 4% and SiO2 is 1.47%. At 70°C, the best cure time is 5 days. Moreover, the mechanical properties of polyurethane material prepared with EHTPB are superior to those of material with HTPB.
