Abstract
A novel biodegradable poly (sebacate-glycerol-citrate) (PGSC) elastomer is prepared, and its structure, composition, performances such as mechanical properties, thermal-properties and biodegradability are characterized. The composition and properties of prepared PGSC elastomer can be adjusted by controlling the thermal-curing time. Hydrogen bonding action exists in the materials, which greatly influences the thermal-properties and biodegradability. It is expected that PGSC elastomers can be used as anti-conglutination films in surgery, guided tissue regeneration membranes and drug delivery matrixes.
