Abstract
Series low-cost and commercialized catalysts, Cu/γ-Al2O3, were prepared by an immersion method. The catalysts have a good reaction activity of NO with NH3 acted as a reductant. For investigation of the influence of Cu loading amounts and calcination temperatures, XRD and N2-BET were used to characterize the crystal structure, specific surface and the average pore size. The selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 was studied over Cu/γ-Al2O3. The results indicate that the loading amount of Cu influences the catalyst activity, but the influence of the calcination temperature is not big. The catalytic activity of the catalyst with 10% Cu loading prepared at 723 K is higher than that of others.
