Pillow-shaped distortion of correction algorithm of galvanometric scanning system

Abstract

Galvanometri scanner is widely used in rapid prototyping systems. Due to the intrinsic nonlinear relationship between the deflection angles and the corresponding xy coordinates, the pillow-shaped field distortion would be introduced. In the paper, the aberration mechanism is analyzed and the correction algorithm to compensate for the field distortion is proposed.
