Abstract

Two kinds of water-cooled CPC-PV/T electric-thermal devices including independent double fluidic channel device and loop double fluidic channel device was designed and both characteristics were analyzed. Pipelines connecting CPC-PV/T heat collecting units are serpentine hedging style. Two modes of integration were put forward. CPC-PV/T preheating system was used, which is connected by multiple CPC-PV/T electric-thermal devices in parallel for heating the condensate water of coal-fired unit. And CPC-PV/T preheating system waa used as the preheating section of auxiliary coal-fired thermal power generation unit of volume expanding evaporative steam generation system (VEESG). And the integration mechanisms was studied which show that the thermal economy of the composite power system increases linearly with the increase of the inlet flow rate of the CPC-PV/T system and the temperature of outlet water can be up to 90°C; Within a range of water flow rate, the thermal efficiency of CPC-PV/T system decreases with the increasing inlet water flow rate and increases with the increasing radiation intensity. The electrical efficiency of CPC-PV/T system increases in waveform with the increase of inlet water flow rate and the average electrical efficiency and thermal efficiency are about 13.4% and 42% respectively. Compared with photovoltaic or solar thermal systems, CPC-PV/T system has the advantages of small area and high utilization of solar energy.
