Abstract

A self-learning control method is applied to optimize performance of internal combustion engine. Self-learning is based on feedback data of optimal controlled parameter on different operation load and speed; they are updated until the desired engine performance is obtained by adjustment of controlled parameter. An example of air-fuel ratio control in a carburetor gasoline engine is given, including the description of the control process details, the characteristics and test results.
