Abstract
For an associated power converter in wave energy conversion system, taking the maximum energy from the ocean wave as the objective, the optimal efficiency tracking control of mutually coupled linear switched reluctance generators (LSRMCs) is investigated by online determination of optimal turn-on and turn-off positions. The comparisons between finite element analysis and the experiments validate the presented control scheme, which suggests that the LSRMC with optimal efficiency tracking control is endowed with higher efficiency than that without optimization, and improves the operational stability with easy operation.
