On the Robustness of TwIST-based Compressed Sensing for Spherical Near-Field Measurements

Abstract

This paper applies the two-step iterative shrinkage/thresholding (TwIST) algorithm to spherical near-field testing, focusing on the robustness of parameter selection and performance analysis. The feasibility of this method has been discussed in previous works. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the iterative parameters α and β, along with the selection of the regularization parameter τ. Additionally, the conjugate gradient algorithm is employed to enhance the efficiency of the reconstruction process, particularly in denoising scenarios. A key aspect of this paper is the algorithm's effectiveness in reconstructing spherical wave expansion coefficients amidst noise.
