Abstract

This paper investigates the parameter design for the secrecy throughput optimization under a secrecy outage constraint in a DF relay network subjected to fading. The parameters are designed based on the statistical channel state information (SCSI) of the legitimate channel. We formulate the optimization issue and introduce the optimal scheme, with which the maximum throughput can be numerically obtained. We further propose two suboptimal schemes with lower complexity and derive the closed-form expressions of the throughput. Numerical results show that, the suboptimal solutions are approximate to the optimal one at high and low SNR regimes, respectively.
