Numerical simulation on convective heat transfer of fully developed laminar flow in wave-like fin tubes

Abstract

The Delaunay method is used to generate triangle mesh, and point iteration is adopted to solve the resulting algebraic equations. Simulations are four different wave numbers and six different ratios of inner radius to outer radius of wave-like fin tube for the convective heat transfer of fully developed laminar flow. The results show that a critical inner radius that maximizes friction factor and heat transfer exists.
