Abstract
In the present paper, the influence of the hole site on heat transfer characteristics was numerically studied by changing one film cooling hole location at trailing edge. The results indicated that the lower film cooling effectiveness zone near the leading edge was protected very well after the film cooling hole at the trailing edge moves to leading edge. The existence of the hole location either at the leading edge or near the suction side affected slightly on the film cooling effectiveness.
