Numerical control machine tool module partition with multi-criteria pedigree clustering method

Abstract

For improving the manufacturing cycle and ratio of performance to price in the modular designing of numerical control(NC) machine, the modules of NC machine are divided by function module solving and setting up the relationship between the function module and the structural one. Based on the principle of on top-down module division the analytic hierarchy is adopted to construct the correlation degree weight judgment matrix, and the multiple correlation criterion of the function, assembly, space, dynamic, design information and technology in the function unit, are considered. The hierarchical clustering is chosen to poly the accessorial function. Following the mentality for function-principle-structure each corresponded, the mapping between the function module and the structure module is completed, then the module division proposal is obtained. The example of the precision horizontal machining center verifies the effectiveness and feasibility.
