Abstract

Fullerene nanowhiskers were synthesized using a microchannel reactor of Y-type micromixer. The silicon microchannel reactor was fabricated using deep reaction ion etching and a silicon channel device was bonded anodically with a pyrex glass, for the preparation of a silicon microchannel reactor. The reaction interfaces of the isopropyl alcohol and fullerenes mixed with toluene were obtained. The results show that the C60 nanowhiskers grow to the vertical direction of the reaction interfaces.
