N2 - Microbubble and its cavitation combined with ultrasound have been explored to improve the theranostics of vascular diseases. Inspiring achievements have been obtained in molecular imaging, drug delivery, and thrombolysis by using microbubbles. However, microbubbles flow along the vessel axis in the blood laminar flow, preventing the microbubbles from contacting with the targeting endothelium. Hence, transporting microbubbles to the desired site has the potential to improve the corresponding medical applications.
