N2 - We demonstrate nonlinear valley-Hall edge states (VHESs) in cw-laser-written anisotropic photonic lattices hosting type-II Dirac points. These topological gap quasi-solitons are fundamentally distinct from linear type-I VHESs and from all previously found topological solitons.
